Feather Friendly® completes its second project at the Cincinnati Zoo
Feather Friendly® recently completed its second project at the Cincinnati Zoo. After Bird Collision Deterrent Markers were installed at the Malayan Tiger Exhibit and found to be successful, Kimberly A Klosterman, Aviculure Senior Keeper, at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden decided to buy additional Feather Friendly® product for the African lion and cougar habitat windows exhibit area. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kimberly on this project.

Feather Friendly® is a member American Association of Zoos and Aquariums. We love to celebrate the protection of wildlife and the great conservation efforts zoos and aquariums provide to their communities with the support of our membership. We work with several zoos in North America and show our appreciation of their work to protect birds through presenting these clients with a plaque in their honour. Feather Friendly® proudly presented a certificate plaque to Cincinnati Zoo for their efforts to save birds from window collisions. Their plaque was placed in the Bird House “migration room,” where kids learn about hazards to birds during migration such as windows!
We also provide window graphics as well. We believe celebrating positive change publicly with our client graphics and plaques encourages other to take note and want to step up to change their building windows and other glass enclosures.

Feather Friendly® was developed as a solution to save birds from window collisions approximately twelve years ago and is on its 8th generation. Feather Friendly® headquarters are Toronto, Ontario which happens to be centred in a migratory bird path and has experienced significant fatalities due to glass buildings. Toronto was the first city in the world to create Safe Building Bylaws in bird conservation and Feather Friendly® helped to establish these new bylaws. In the twelve years, we have sold our solution globally with great success in reducing and eliminating bird collisions. We are proud to be endorsed by leading bird conservation organizations.
