South Korea Highway

South Korean Government

In 2019, the South Korean Ministry of Environment selected Feather Friendly® to provide a solution to the increasing number of bird deaths resulting from glass collisions – approximately 8 million annually. Volunteers assembled to support the cause and assist with the application of Feather Friendly® bird deterrent technology on glass highway barriers. The project has already reported a significant decrease in the number of overall bird collisions.
